The Healing Hands Project is a wellbeing initiative from Healing Homes Lancashire CIC, providing holistic therapies alongside creativity to support people's mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
We believe healing isn't one-size-fits-all. For some, it comes through a relaxing massage or reflexology treatment. For others, it's found in making something with their hands, learning a new skill, expressing themselves through creativity or simply feeling part of a supportive community.
Research and lived experience show that both holistic therapies and creative activities can help reduce stress, improve mood, build confidence and create moments of calm. By bringing these approaches together, we offer people the opportunity to heal in a way that feels right for them.
Whether someone is recovering from domestic abuse, experiencing anxiety, living with trauma, feeling isolated or simply needing time to recharge, Healing Hands provides a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space.
Our therapies may include:
Working closely with our sister projects, Pendle Makerspace and New Imp Studio, we recognise that wellbeing extends beyond treatment.
Creativity, music, practical making and social connection all play an important role in helping people rebuild confidence, discover purpose and improve their overall wellbeing.
Many of our sessions are delivered through funded projects, referrals and community partnerships, helping ensure support is accessible to those who need it most.
At Healing Hands, we believe that healing happens through caring hands, creative minds and connected communities.
